It’s odd(?) to me what’s all considered “The Midwest,” because there’s a huge difference between the more-populated and industrial areas/states compared to the barren high-elevation flats of beef-cattle and corn country.
I am Midwestern by birth (and definitely not Iowan!), but it’d be darned difficult to get away with these kinds of shots there.
It amazes me how many outdoor photos you manage in such public places. And with no lookout! How on earth do you manage it?
